Guestrooms and Dining Room
Hanazean is an inn nestled amid the natural beauty of a mountain valley. Whether you’re coming as a family, a circle of friends or a group, our on-site facilities and equipment are here for you to use.
On the first floor of the guestroom building is the living and dining area. The guestrooms on the second floor include two rooms in tatami style, as well as individual rooms in the refurbished main building and storerooms that can accommodate larger groups.

The Baths
In addition to a large bath with sauna, there is also an indoor bath and a stone wall bath. There is also an outdoor bath created by the hermitage (swimwear required; beer delivery possible). Relax and unwind under the fresh air and starlit sky of the satoyama. Advance booking is required for both the sauna and outdoor baths.

Exterior View
The guestroom building is a refurbished barn dating from the early 20th century. An indigo-dyed shop curtain hung over the front entrance welcomes guests. The spacious garden, a wonderful place to relax in, is another attractive feature. Guests are welcome to bring their own food in and barbecue it here.
